Landing gear is a complicated component of an air craft.
It ia also called under carriage.
There are tow types of landing gear used in air plane.these are


         1.fixed l.g.
         2.retractable l.g.




Most of the high range or heavy weight commercial/cargo/fighter jet plane uses retractable l.g.
Fixed l.g. is used in small,low rang and low altitude aircraft.mostly in private planes.
